I enter route 2 knoiwing I was getting closer to my destination the city. But as I enter the first thing I notice is that I'm in the middle of a sandstorm. As I walk through i think about how I will get though without getting hurt or hurting my pokemon.

You enter Rt. 2, also known as the Sandstorm Path. Almost immediatly you realize why this route has been titled as such, as the winds whipping through the canyons all around you are laden with particulate debris, making sight and progress difficult. Right from the start, you are faced with three near identical-sized canyons. The furthest left bends leftward, from what you can see, and you cannot see further around the corner. The far right path seems to shift downward, the walls of the canyon climbing higher as the road moves downhill. The center path goes straight as an arrow, though the blowing sand obscures your sight for very far. Which option would you like? -sandragon13

I look at the three path ahead pf me and think about the possibilites. If I go through the center, I will get bombarded with sand. From the left I don't know what going to happen. SO that leaves me with the third. Maybe it will go underground and get me out of this storm. After thinking for a while I decide to take the path on the right.
(O.k. thanks for the information.)

You head down the right-hand path, descending deep into a high-banked canyon. The walls on either side climb ever higher as the path continues moving downhill. Finally the path levels out, the cliffs on either side now more than sixty feet high. With nowhere else to go you walk forward down the path. Up ahead you see a Machop lv. 5 lifting a boulder. -sandragon13

I walk up to the Machop, and try to figure out why its trying to lift up the boulder. Wondering if it was doing it for training or just for fun.

You walk right up to the Machop, who, startled, turns around and hurls the huge boulder in your direction! You barely dive out of the way of the flying stone, and when you raise your head, you see the Machop flexing, eager for a battle! -sandragon13

"O.k. lets see. Totadile come on out. Lets see why don't you try and use Leer and then use Mud Slap, but since there is no mud use Sand instead try to throw as much as possible into Machop's eyes."

Totodile emerges and sets into his threatening stance, which to this point has worked well against opponents. The Machop recoils slightly, as if suprised by the power of the glare, and immediatly fires a Leer in response back at Totodile! The glare is equally effective on Totodile, who also displays a flicker of uncertainty in this new opponent. The Machop, satisfied that Totodile will make a worthy foe, starts off at a loping gait toward Totodile! Totodile, however, acts first and digs a forearm claw into the sand at its feet. It flings a solid clump of the sandy soil right into the Machop's face, for minor damage, but the stinging sand gets into the Fighting-type's eyes, and its swinging chop attack misses. It despirately tries to clear the sand from its eyes... -sandragon13

Totodile launches another clawful of sand in Machop's direction, but the superpower pokemon manages to turn its back to the attack, negating its intended effect. It manages to clear one eye of sand enough to land a Karate Chop on Totodile, who is able to evade the full attack, step backward, and fire a Water Gun into the sand, making it more difficult for Machop to move around. Machop: 14/20 -1 Accuracy Totodile: 20/28 -sandragon13

Totodile, again, does a good job of following orders and launches a lateral Water Gun attack, catching the Machop as it attemps to dodge to one side. THe attack barely phases the fighting type, however, as it leaps in for a Low Kick. Machop: 9/20 -sandragon13

"Good job Totadile. Now lets use a Leer to hold Machop in its place and then strike with a Scratch."

Totodile attempts to intimidate Machop, but the fighting-type is barely phased by the attack and lands a Low Kick, knocking Totodile off its feet. Totodile, however, endures the hit and lands a Scratch of its own. Both pokemon then jump back, awaiting orders. Totodile: 15/28 Machop: 4/20 -sandragon13

"You where great in this battle Totadile thank you. Now pokeball go." I say as I throw a pokeball at Machop, hoping to catch it.
