As you make your way through the canyon, the blowing sand growing stronger as you go, you spot something shiny out the corner of your vision. Want to leave it be and keep going down the path, or venture a look? -sandragon13

"Ooh something shiny. Shiny things allways catch my attention. SO lets go find out what this one is Totodaile." I say as I think of the possibilities the dark corner may hol for me.

Well lucky you! It's an Aron, lv. 5, chewing on some iron-rich rocks in a cave entrance that you missed the first time that you walked by! -sandragon13

"OOh Aron turn into a very nice pokemon in the future. So lets try to catch it. Totadile looks like its up to you again, since the other can't do much. Go in for a very weak water gun. I'm pretty sure it can survive at least one. If we are lucky it will beccome very weak enough to catch it."

Totodile emerges and attacks with Water Gun, intentionally weakening the attack so to lessen the impact on the Rock-type. The Aron, soaking wet and enraged, charges furiously after Totodile! Aron: 7/20 -sandragon13

"Totadile, use a Mud Slap that will become a 'Sand Slap' attack. Aim for the eyes. Try to do a little bit of damage along with blinding this little one."

Totodile digs its claw into the sandy soil and flings it toward the Aron, who manages to turn its head away just before the attack strikes. Seems this guy is familiar with fighting in a sandstorm! At least, attacking it diverted its intended charge, but here it comes again! -sandragon13

"Totadile try and look for a rock or something of the sort. Then when Aron goes to charge at you jump out of the way and let him crash int the rock. If you see that it can take a Scratch attack which shold like nothing use it, but if not leave it alone."

Totodile does as ordered, hopping up in front of a nearby block of stone and drawing the charge of the Aron. The Iron Armor pokemon wheels around and storms toward the blue crocodilian, but as it comes in, Totodile leaps out of the way off to the side, leaving the Aron to plow into the boulder head-first. At first the Aron seems to have been stunned by the impact, but you're shocked to see that the rock now has a massive crack in it, running from the point where the Steel/Rock hybrid crashed into it. The Aron turns itself around, and you can spot what would pass for a grin on its lips, beneath its metallic armor. Totodile, meanwhile, charges in and claws at the Aron, who makes no effort to dodge, and takes minimal damage from the attack. Aron: 5/20 -sandragon13

"Good job on doing what I asked Totadile. Now use one more Scratch and then go Pokeball. You should be faster and shuld be able to hit Aron before it hits you."

Totodile stands its ground and swipes at the Aron, doing its best to deal damage through the Pokemon's thick armor. The Aron, as predicted, is too slow to dodge, but Tackles Totodile after it attacks. You throw the Pokeball after the Tackle lands and it sucks the Steel type inside... Totodile: 16/28 Aron: 3/20 *ping* *ping* *ping!* Congrats, you captured the Aron! -sandragon13

You continue on through the winding, high-walled canyon, the sand-laden wind buffeting you as you fight through. The very weather seems to be against you , and for a moment you remember the serenity of your life before becoming a trainer and embarking on this journey. It's really hard going through the narrow rock-lined path, the wind focused through the channel and focused into gale-force blasts. There's a vague suggestion of a path winding up the cliff face to your left, barely visible through the sandstorm... but perhaps it'd be better to follow the main road. What do you think? -sandragon13
