Unlike most other Grass types, Pumkid have no fear of fire and are sometimes attracted to it. Campers can sometimes find Pumkid drawn to their campfires at night. Bio: Pumking are the evolved form of Pumkid. When a Pumkid grows to a high enough level, the flame within its body erupts from its mouth and eyes, scarring its body during the evolution process into a hideous visage of burns and ridges. Because of Pumking's terrifying features, many trainers abandon this Pokemon upon evolution. This resulted in Pumking, as a species, to have a strong distrust of humans and human-raised Pokemon. It takes a great deal of trust and experience to convince a Pumking to trust its trainer.
Pumking, upon evolution, gain a larger body that is warm to the touch from its inner life-flame. Its face, contorted as it is from evolution, bears a twisted grin and eyes that seem to hover in their sockets, backlit by its flame. It grows a pair of sturdy, clawed legs, and the arm-like vines at its sides lengthen, thicken, and sprout hands, which are often coild into fists. These arms have slight elastic properties, allowing Pumking to hit targets several feet away, and are its main offensive weapons. Pumking, when in battle, are difficult to counter due to the beneficial typing and immunity to Fire attacks to which most Grass types are so weak. They also are capable of learning multiple tyes of attacks after evolution, including Fire, Psychic, Grass, Ghost, and Poison, among others.
Both of these pokemon can be seen in the wild, but Pumking are much more rare, and both can only be seen at night in fields or forests.
Can be found anywhere at night.
