Name: Sheblade [SHEH-blade] (named for shade/blade/the fact that spurious are always female)
Spurious Pokemon
Height: 3'2", Weight: 41 lbs Blade Length: 2.5 ft.
Type: Dark/Ghost
Ability: Keen Eye/Hyper Cutter
Evolves from female Sableye at lv. 35, can be found rarely in the wild in very dark places, such as caves or mine shafts.
Attacks: Same as Sableye, but learns Metal Claw at lv. 29 (instead of Knock Off), Slash at lv. 36 instead of Punish, Swords Dance at lv. 46 instead of Confuse Ray, and Gem Blade at lv. 43 instead of Power Gem. Finally, it learns Shadow Claw at lv. 53 instead of Shadow Ball.
*Gem Blade: Type: Rock Power: 80 PP: 10 Acc: 85%
Other Effects: High Crit. Hit Ratio, may cause opponant's defense to drop one level.
Bio: Another recently-discovered species of Ghost pokemon, Sheblade can only be found deep within dark caves or in abandoned mine shafts, where it feeds on minerals and especially precious stones and gems. Sheblade all seem to be female, for some reason. Evolved from female Sableye, minerals conserved within the body over an extended period spontaniously manifested, upon evolution, into a giant, suprisingly light, and razor-sharp scythe-like blade that is rooted in the wrist and forearm of the pokemon. This blade can be deftly weilded as an extremely dangerous weapon, especially when combined with this pokemon's ability to see and fight in total darkness. Being made of converted gemstones, the blade also makes an excellent shield to protect Sheblade from incoming attacks. When the blade is uneeded, it can be folded backwards so that it rests in a retracted position on the pokemon's upper arm, like a switchblade on a larger scale. Because the blade is rooted above the wrist and not from the hand itself, this pokemon retains use of both of its hands. In battle, Sheblade are deceptively quick and, aided by claws on their hands and feet, can scale walls and ceilings with little trouble. They also tend to rely heavily on their blade for attack and defense and mounting a physical assault, unlike its pre-evolved form, and many other ghost types. Despite their murderous appearance, Sheblade, like its pre-evolved form, are very shy in the wild and rarely, if ever, venture from the depths of their caves.
