(actually Iw as planning for something else but hmm..)
You release Sanki and he helps you look around. He notices long dead vine going down the steep steep hill. He points at it. It obvisouyl can't support your weight.

This is going nowhere, and I'm getting frustrated with the sand and the rocks and that trainer back there...
I turn around and call for Zanki to follow me. I head for the other wall that goes up and start climbing.

(I was thinkinh for you to slowly walk down the steep wall by using geodude and the vine. Or use totodile to soften the blow and take the wall like a slide. Etc. So I need to tihnk of a third weay to het out.)
You reach the top of the wall through the raging sands somehow and see a path that barely slopes downwards, ahead of you. Two pokemon come form the sadn in fornt of you. They are sandshrews level 3 and 5

Ok, go Seedot and Zanki!
Seedot, use Harden and Endure in quick succession, then start chraging a Bide attack.
Zanki, protect Seedot. Use Dragon Dance, and then blast both sandshrew with watergun, and sweep the blast back and forth so you hit both of them.

Seedot quickly uses both Harden and Endure. [Seedot +Def] Zanki uses Dragon Dance. [Zanki +Atk/Spd] Both Sandshrews use Defense Curl. [Sandshrew 1&2 +Def] Seedot uses Bide. Zanki creates a pillar of water using Watergun to keep the two Sandshrews at bay. Sandshrew 1 uses Defense Curl. [Sandshrew 1 +Def x2] Sandshrew 2 used Dig.

Ok, Zanki: fire a short blast of water at the one sandshrew that's still above ground. right after you fire it, use that blast as cover and run in after it and Scratch as hard as you can.
Seedot: continue with the bide attack, but get ready to roll to the side if the other sandshrew jumps up from it's dig attack.
