"A totodile..." murmurs the trainer as he stand up, still on the rock. "See if you can defeat this" he says and throws a pokebal, opening to reveal an oddish, level 6.

"Oddish use tickle (egg move of oddish) on him" says the other trainer, tihnkign fo a strategy to fight the totodile.
Totodile ran up after donig dragon dance and scratched the oddish clear in the face (as id he coudl get in most other places). Usin the opening the Oddish moves its planets under totodile's armpits and amesks him laugh out loud...in his own pokemon way.
Oddish: 17/24 Totodile: 11/36 Attakc gain and loss the same. Def -

Zanki, hit him with a full force Watergun, then come back, and Pachirisu go. Hit him with a thunderpunch while the oddish is still wet from the watergun!

"So you want to play that way eh? ODdish you know what to do with abosrb." The trainer smiles, sittign back down to watch his oddish's strategy.
Totodeile barely does damaage as he fires water at the plant pokemon. Pachirisu comes and his fist sparks with electricity as he scampers at he pet pokemon. Oddish jumps on top of Pachirisu and uses absorb, helaing and doing effective sdamage before pachirisu shakes it off and thunder punches the still-stopping plant pokemon.
Totodile: 11/36 No longer in play Oddish: 12/24 Pachirisu: 4/16
(I really wanted ot have the oddish use absorb before it was fainted. PLus you agree toa 1-1 so your lucky he doesn't bring out antoher pokemon)

The trainer smiled and looked at you. "You LOSE" he stated as his oddish used absorb on pachirisu again. fainting it easily and healing its wounds. "unfrotunately your not storng enough for me to lead you. Good luck" he smirked, taking a nap on the stone.
Will you keep going past him?

(no becasue you asked for a 1-1 if you wanted to bring back totodile you'd ahve to let him use a seocnd pokemon. Thats why i gave Oddish a boost when you did the switch. Cheater.)
YOu keep walking, scoffing at the unhelpful trainer and walking through the sandy mountain. YOu find two rock walls. One that goes downwards with no foot/handholds (there is a way), or one with many footholds that goes upwards.

(i thought you meant a single or double battle. my bad.)
I'll take the one that goes down. we need to get back into the valley, and hopefully find some berries to heal up my team. i'll look for them when I make it down (if that's ok)

You need to find out how to get down. There are no foot holds, it is at an angle in which you'd definately fall.

Hmmm... let's think.
I could ask my Geodude to help me, but he's too weak right now. I'm going to look around the area near the wall, and see if I can find another way down. I release Zanki and tell him to help me look.
