I laugh at the Rhydon on the bridge, on Route One, and continue on... I recall Phanpy.

Onward you go down the path, descending down the hill. All the land from this height seems to be a crisscrossing maze of canyons and clouded by a whirling sandstorm. Are you ready to head into this labarynth? -sandragon13

I'll give it a shot. Go Phanpy, you, being a desert animal, should be able to detect any areas that we shouldn't cross. I continue onward...

Down the hill you go, descending into the treacherous heart of the sandstorm. For a while you wander, unable to see too much, but eventually you do spot a Geodude, lv. 4, just sitting there atop a small boulder. -sandragon13

Hmm. Well, sorry Cyndaquil, but your attacks won't really hurt it... My only choice is... Phanpy!!! Go, and use a double Ice Shard, running in circles around it to dodge attacks!!!

Geodude notices the attack out of the corner of his eye, curling himself up into a ball to only slightly lower the powerful blast. Letting out an anoyed 'Dude', he leaps off of his boulder with his fist clenched as he charges at Phanpy, his slow speed hindering him as he barely manages to score a hit on Phanphy's backside.
Geodude: 3/12 Phanpy: 22/24

(Congrats on your modship. Kudos to you.)
Ice Shard, if it misses, use another one!!! We want experience more than a Geodude!!!

Shards of ice form before Phampy, who sends them flying into Geodude! The Rock/Ground type Defense Curls and blocks the first barrage but the second strikes beneath its guard and brings it down! Level up for Phampy! The rock where Geodude was sitting, you now realize, stands between two tall-walled canyons, one winding to the right, the other to the left. Which will you choose? -sandragon13

All seems calm as you walk down the canyon, the sounds of nature echoing throught it walls. After walking down the path for a while, you notice in the shade of the canyon walls a sleeping Lv. 6 Paris.

Paris becomes knocked onto it's back from Cyndaquil's surprise Tackle, however it quickly does a barrel roll to right itself up. Angry that you interrupted his afternoon nap, Paris shoots a burst of Orange spores at Cyndaquil, it's Stun Spore!
Paris: 19/24

Darn Paras... Alright, Cyndaquil, run away from the Stun Spore, and Tackle Paras. If you can, ignite your back on it...

Cyndiquil tries to avoid the Stun Spore, but unfortunately the area that it covers is so wide that it can't seem to avoid it and becomes Paralyzed. Paris grins at Cyndaquil's misfortune, but is so caught up gloating that it doesn't notice Cyndiquil fighting through the effects to Tackle it. Paris gives an angry yell, put has no time to counter attack as it skitters out of the way of Cyndaquil's back as it attempts to light him on fire.
Cyndaquil: 24/24 Par Paris: 15/24
