Diglett pops its head underneath the ground's surface, avoiding the attack, and when it re-emerges, it taunts Treeko with a singsong "Dig-lett-Dig-lett!" "Hey, what're you doing attacking my Diglett?!" comes a shout over the ridgetop. A young trainer charges up behind the mole pokemon. "If it's a battle you want, you've got it! Go Diglett, Scratch attack!" Diglett's eyes turn serious as it lunges toward Treeko with cutting force! -sandragon13

Treeko gets on foot and spins around fast enough to make sand dissapear. While he's spining he's tail hits Diglett in the face. Then Treeko comes at the Diglett with a Double Kick.

Treeko begins spinning on one foot, creating an improvised Whirlwhind and blowing the sand cover away! In the process it Pounds Diglett for a strong hit with its thick tail, and causing the mole pokemon to momentarily pop back into its hole in pain. Treeko's momentum, however, makes it keep spinning and, in a cruel twist of fate, traps itself up to its waist in Diglett's hole! The Grass-type can barely move its hips or legs! Diglett pops up in a new hole a few feet in front of Treeko, with an amused look in its eye. With slow, taunting steps, it moves forward toward the trapped Wood Gecko pokemon, winding up for a devestating Slash attack... Diglett: 11/28 -sandragon13

Treeko strains to pull itself out of the hole, but it doesn't seem to be working! If only there was a way for Treeko to absorb the blow... Diglett's charging forward with Slash! -sandragon13

Treecko tries to use absorb to stop it, but he is hit, and sent out of the hole. He quickly gets to his feet, though.

Treeko leaps over Diglett and, rebounding off of a nearby rock, NAILS the mole pokemon in the back of the head with both feet extended, knocking it out! As you celebrate your victory over the evil Diglett, you notice something you had missed before...a cave mouth, in the canyon wall nearby. Do you dare venture inside, or continue down the canyon? -sandragon13
