Aqueed snaps a powerful Vine Whip right in Krabby's face! Krabby claws violently at the attack, allowing the seaweed pokemon to slip its vines under Krabby and hurl it skyward! Krabby: 56/112 -sandragon13

Aqueed grows a greenish tinge , bulging larger, then begins to sap energy from the disabled Krabby! It's super-effective, but fails to KO the river crab! It's back on the ground, and snapping wildly! -sandragon13

Use another Absorb, quickly! If it tries to attack you, defend yourself by grabbing its claws with Vine Whip!

Aqueed binds Krabby's claws with its vines, preventing them from opening, and begins a powerful Absorb attack! Krabby's movements grow more and more feeble until suddenly it faints! Aqueed releases the exhausted river crab and gains a level, while the stunned fisherman withdraws Krabby. "Well, I'll be. You know what you've got to do, kid. Here's your reward. (He rewards you $300) Oh, and take this too...I found it on one of my other pokemon. You can have it if you like. He hands you a gleaming, lance-shaped scale that is pink in color. Suddenly you realize what it is...a Deep-Sea Scale! -sandragon13

"Awesome, thanks! You're Krabby isn't bad. I just had the advantage," I said, and then looked around more...

As you look down the beach, another fisherman is sitting atop a rock with his line in the water...or would you like to venture around in town? -sandragon13

You head back up the cobble-stone stairs and return to street level. There's a few shops and stands lining the road, and the gym stands about a quarter-mile down the path. -sandragon13

To the gym you go, the sparkling water of the Oasis reflecting on the glass-fronted structure. Are you ready, trainer? -sandragon13

You enter the Oasis City Gym, and are greeted by the sound and smell of running water. The battlefield is full-sized and situated on a large, round section surrounded by a wide indoor stream. The back wall of the gym is awash with a large waterfall cascading from the ceiling, apparently taking advantage of the city's large abundant water supply. The ceiling of the structure is high, domed, and made of stained-glass, illuminating much of the whitish sandstone walls a fair blue. Your attention is diverted to the sound of footfalls echoing through the room, and a young man appears on the far side of the battlefield. "A trainer? It's been a while since I've had a challenger. My name's Justy, I'm the Oasis City Gym Leader. Ordinarily, I'd have some junior trainers to test your skill, but my underling is on vacation at the moment. So, if you're ready to challenge me for a badge now, I'll take you on." He unclips a pokeball from his belt, and sends out a lv. 24 Cubone. -sandragon13

Let's go Aqueed!
Start off with a Vine Whip! If it tries to attack you with its bone, grab it with Vine Whip!

Aqueed uses Vine Whip, which Cubone knocks away at the last minute with Bone Club. Before Aqueed can grab its bone club away, Cubone looks skyward and begins to glow a vague red. Suddenly, the sun shining in from the window grows intense...it's a Sunny Day attack! With a start, you notice Aqueed growing somewhat weaker...as if withering in the strong sunlight...It's Aqueed's Dry Skin ability! -sandragon13
